Think you’ve got the voice — and what it takes — to front Skid Row?
For nearly four decades, Skid Row has delivered some of hard rock’s most powerful anthems and their legacy is still growing. Now, the band is opening the door to a new chapter. Together with Sweetwater, Skid Row is looking for the right voice and presence to carry their songs into the future.
This isn’t a contest.
This isn’t a gimmick.
This is your chance to join.
A Band That Helped Define an Era
Skid Row stormed out of New Jersey in the late 1980s and quickly became one of the defining bands of their generation. Their self-titled debut album went multi-platinum, driven by breakout hits like “18 and Life” and “I Remember You.” In 1991, Slave to the Grind cemented their place in hard rock history as the first heavy metal album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
But Skid Row’s impact goes beyond the charts. They toured the world, sharing stages with Guns N’ Roses, Pantera, Aerosmith, Soundgarden, Mötley Crüe, and many others, earning a reputation as a band that goes toe-to-toe with anyone. Their music captures the restless energy of youth and the grit of real life, and fans connect with it in a way that made them more than just another hard rock act — Skid Row became a cultural force.
Today, their songs still light up arenas, playlists, films, social media, and radio waves, proving that Skid Row’s blend of ferocity and melody has stood the test of time.
A New Chapter Begins
This is about more than pitch-perfect vocals. It’s about presence, conviction, and authenticity — the qualities that have always defined Skid Row.
If you’ve got what it takes, don’t wait. Submit your audition for your chance at becoming part of one of rock’s most enduring stories.

The Sound of Skid Row
Part of what makes Skid Row’s music timeless is the unmistakable sound they’ve crafted onstage and in the studio. From high-octane riffs to soaring ballads, their gear has been as much a part of the story as the songs themselves.
Skid Row’s gear has evolved over the years, but the goal has never changed: deliver the attitude, power, and energy that defines their music. Shop the Sound!
