AKA “rechargeable battery.” A type of battery where the chemical reaction that produces electricity can be reversed, which “recharges” the battery and prepares it for re-use. During charging/recharging, positive material is oxidized, producing electrons, while electrons are reduced in the negative material.
Perhaps the most common rechargeable or secondary cell battery is the type found in automobiles, but many types, sizes, and shapes exist.
