A storage medium that is the same size and shape as a standard SD (Secure Digital) card, but that supports the Secure Digital Association’s 2.00 specification. “SDHC” stands for “Secure Digital High Capacity”; SD cards with a capacity of 4GB and above are usually considered SDHC cards. In most cases, SD cards are compatible with SDHC card readers, however, SDHC cards are not backward compatible with SD card readers.
