The proof is the new Class 5 all-tube amp. For this one, Marshall took the tone to a new place: a 5-watt combo with a custom-designed 10″ Celestion speaker. The cabinet is a high-end birch, finger-jointed build with the traditional Black Levant covering. There’s also an extension/headphone out — plugging in mutes the internal speaker. The controls include volume, bass, middle, and treble. The tube compliment includes two ECC83 preamp tibes and an EL84 power tube running single-ended class A.
Low wattage, big tone. Ya gotta love it!
