Microsoft’s latest OS, Windows 7, is on the streets and getting rave reviews! But, as with any OS upgrade/update, we suggest you hold off installing Windows 7 until you’re absolutely certain it’s compatible with your audio and music software. Some manufacturers have announced full compatibility for their applications, such as Cakewalk (who recommend it as the OS to use) and MOTU. Others, such as Digidesign, have not yet announced compatibility, and Steinberg, have announced compatibility for certain applictions while others will be made compatible with an update scheduled for release in December.
