Refers to the design of keyboard assemblies. Basically it’s a specific type of hammer action keyboard where the feel gets slightly lighter as you progress up the keyboard to the higher pitched notes. This is what happens on most acoustic pianos, so in the never-ending goal to mimic that feel in some keyboards we are seeing more and more keybed assemblies designed this way.
