Preset Keys

On vintage Hammond organs these reverse-0color keys located to the left of the Swell keys mechanically latch when pressed, and recall preset drawbar settings different from the physical settings of the drawbars themselves — think of them as a way to “save” a particular organ tone and recall it later. Typically there would be three built-in presets with one of the preset keys being a “reset key” that would revert the instrument to the physical drawbar settings. Dual manual organs have more preset keys, with each manual having separate presets. Preset keys are a feature on all Hammond organs.
