If you have problems during install with East West Play products and Mac OS X Snow Leopard, there is a workaround: download the latest Play Software Update from East West’s updates page, run it and select all desired products. Once the update completes, install the “Library” portion from the disc #1 installer. This should solve the problem and also get you up to date on your Play software.
