It’s not often that a guitar manufacturer announces a new instrument, let alone two! Yet PRS just did just that, and now, Parker Guitars is introducing two brand new guitars, the NiteFly Alder and the updated NiteFly Swamp Ash. The NiteFly Alder starts with (no surprise) a time-tested, solid alder body, then adds a solid, one-piece maple neck with Parker’s exclusive carbon-glass-epoxy reinforcement, along with a carbon-glass fingerboard. The neck is a bolt-on design with a half-round precision joint. The guitar comes with the Parker patented bridge and tremolo system, three DiMarzio custom-wound pickups (two single coils plus a humbucker with coil tapping), Sperzel locking tuners and hardened stainless steel frets. The guitar will be available in Cream White, Crimson Red, and Indigo Blue and comes with a custom molded hard shell case.
Parker has also updated the piezo-equipped NiteFly Swamp Ash guitar. It will now come standard with a solid maple neck and coil-tapping for the bridge humbucker. The NiteFly Swamp Ash will be available available in Black, Transparent Red and Transparent Blue and ships with a custom molded hardshell case.
