Overwound

A pickup that features more windings of wire in a coil than “usual” is said to be “overwound.” There is no “standard” that says how many windings of wire a pickup should have, however, manufacturers typically base this on vintage models. An overwound pickup will have more output than a pickup with lesser windings, and often will have increased midrange and decreased high end, depending on how overwound it is.
