The OB-X8 is the ultimate OB-series synth — the line made famous by Prince, Van Halen, Rush, the Police, Gary Numan, and countless other synth-obsessed bands and artists. The OB-X8 is a gorgeously crafted polyphonic synth that packages three of Tom’s most-coveted designs into a single instrument: the OB-X, the OB-Xa, and the OB-8.
Original components from these iconic synths have been faithfully reproduced, such as the SEM/OB-X–lineage VCOs, SEM-lineage VCFs, and meticulously modeled envelopes. The OB-X8 retains the OB-8’s powerful “Page 2” functions, and it comes packed with 400 original factory presets.
