- Roland SA-300 Stage Amplifier – This is a lightweight, portable all-in-one PA system that includes an integral 4-channel mixer with built-in effects. The 2-piece design is easy to carry at less than 42 pounds and it can handle any type of audio source you plug into it: mics, rhythm machines, keyboards, CD players – you name it! Roland aptly calls this “a traveling musician’s dream come true!”
- Rode Dead Cat – Kitty no! Oh, it’s a joke… Actually, the Rode Dead Cat is a really nice wind muff specially designed to provide wind protection for the company’s Video Mic, NTG-1, and NTG-2 microphones. When you see it, you’ll understand the feline allusion. Gotta love a company with a sense of humor. Don’t worry, Fluffy is okay.
- M-Audio Oxygen 49 – This lightweight (just 7.5 pounds) USB MIDI controller gives you the same control, flexibility and and synth-action keyboard as the Oxygen 61, with an octave fewer keys to accommodate tight spaces and provide greater mobility. It has a built-in MIDI interface and there are 35 assignable knobs, sliders, and buttons for complete control of your hardware and software. It also comes with M-Audio’s Enigma librarian/editor and Ableton Live Lite.
- Epiphone Valve Junior Head – This 5-watt tube amp only has one control: volume. For tonal variation you can use your guitar’s tone control or get one of the new pedalboards with all the bells and whistles. It comes with a 12AX7 in the preamp and a EL84 in the output stage. The low wattage makes this a great amp for any situation where the volume needs to stay low, but the tone has to be perfect!
