Native Instruments has released a free update to Maschine, bringing it to version 2.3. The new update is chock full of features and improvements:
- New cymbal drum synth and hi-hat engine
- New snare and tom drum synth engines
- New hall and room reverbs
- New limiter, analog distortion, and speaker cabinet emulations
- Quantize and Quantize 50% now available from the Pattern Editor Context Menu
- Under MIDI Input Modes, the Source parameter off setting renamed to Focus (previously Off)
- MIDI Export: Sounds that do not have notes in a Group Pattern are exported as empty MIDI tracks upon MIDI export, allowing consistent export of multiple patterns where some sounds have notes in only some patterns
- Control Area, Assignment tab: New context menu with access to existing functionality, plus Cut and Paste functions for external plug-ins and Copy for MASCHINE Macros
Also included with the Maschine update is the new Komplete Select, a collection of 10 instruments and effects selected from the Komplete bundle.
