Minnetonka Audio Software has announced two new Dolby products for Mac OS, which are designed to work with Apple’s video and audio production software.
The first is SurCode for Dolby TrueHD for Final Cut Pro and Logic Studio, the first TrueHD product from a third-party partner. SurCode for Dolby TrueHD supports both Dolby TrueHD files and streams, converting them to and from discrete linear PCM. Features include user-definable noise shaping, downmix coefficients, dynamic range compression, and timecode, as well as a built-in decoder for confidence monitoring.
Second is SurCode for Dolby E, for Final Cut Pro. SurCode for Dolby E works with files and streams and allows for up to eight channles of AES/EBU digital audio in a bitstream or WAV/Broadcast WAV file.
