At Sweetwater, we believe that music has the power to bring people together. It’s in the songs we grew up with, the traditions those songs help carry through generations, and the gear that helps us share those heartwarming musical moments with friends and family.
This holiday season, we’re honoring that spirit with a brand-new giveaway called Music Is the Gift. It’s a celebration of the stories, the people, and the sounds that make this season special. It’s also a chance to tell your story and win an unforgettable present for your spouse, parent, child, favorite relative, or best friend!
Be the Holiday Hero & Win the Perfect Gift!
Starting October 27, we’re inviting musicians, families, and music lovers everywhere to share a story about a holiday gift wish that’s inspiring, heartwarming, funny, or any of the above. Maybe it’s about a drum kit your dad had to sell to make room for a nursery when you were born or about an acoustic guitar played by your daughter’s favorite artist. Perhaps it’s about a synth in the song you and your spouse first danced to. Maybe it’s about a long-unfulfilled wish to play the saxophone.
Throughout the holiday season, we’ll select submitted stories to share across Sweetwater’s social channels. A few lucky entrants will also have their gift wish granted!
Participate By Doing One of the Following
- Visit our Music Is the Gift video booth in the Sweetwater Music Store to record your message, or
- Share your video on social media using #MusicIsTheGift and #SweetwaterStories, and submit the link to your video using the form below

Send Us Your Story
To participate in the Music Is the Gift holiday giveaway, submit a link to your 30-60 second video using the entry form below. Deadline for entries is midnight EST on Monday, December 15, 2025. If your story is selected, then it will be shared on the Sweetwater website and across Sweetwater’s social channels, and/or you will be selected to win items on your wish list.
