Q: I am running the latest version of Peak Pro 6 on a dual-processor Mac G5. I have no problem at all importing MP3s for editing, but how do I then resave the file as an MP3 again? I don’t see that option in Peak.
A: If you want the capability of exporting MP3s from Peak Pro 6, you will need to install the “LameLib” MP3 encoder, which can be downloaded from the BIAS site.
The actual step-by-step process for installing the encoders can be found on pages 321-322 of the Peak Pro 6 manual.
