Audix has introduced the latest in their series of packages designed to make drum-miking an easy process. The DP-7 pack is ideal for miking a 5-piece kit for studio and live applications. The pack contains seven microphones: D6 (kick), i5 (snare), two D2 (rack toms), D4 (floor tom), and a pair of ADX51 condensers for stereo overheads. The pack also includes four D-Vice rim-mounting clips, which means you don’t need to surround your kit in a sea of mic stands. The entire miking kit comes in a convenient aluminum carrying case.
