Mic Measurements

Looking for an easy way to verify that two microphones are the same distance from a source? Use a piece of string or a cable. Simply stretch the string or cable from the source to one mic, then compare the length of the string or cable to the distance of the other mic from the source. Positioning multiple mics the same distance from a source will help ensure that phase cancellation problems don’t appear.
