Lightning Connector

Compact 8-pin connector replacing the previous iOS device dock connector. The Lightning connector was introduced on the Apple iPhone 5 for interfacing the device to chargers and to various accessories and adapters. In addition to its smaller size, the Lightning connector offers the advantage of being reversible — it will work regardless of which way it is plugged in.
