KONTAKT 3 Users: Here’s Your First Update

Native Instruments has released an update for their hugely popular software sampler, KONTAKT 3. Aside from some cosmetic improvements, version 3.01 is said to deliver better performance with less draw on the host computer’s CPU and an enhanced feature set that includes:

  • New CPU Profiling mode for analyzing the CPU usage of an instrument.
  • Performance improvements within the Edit mode.
  • Performance improvements when using distortion, saturation, and synth filters.
  • Faster database searches and additional patches.
  • A new Kontakt 3 Library manual.
  • Various library and overall bug fixes.

This update is highly recommended for all Kontakt 3 users.
