Though inspired by T-style guitars of yesteryear, the Ibanez FLATV1 balances classic feel and response with modern-day optimizations in the form of an ultra-fast and comfortable soft “V” neck profile and custom Seymour Duncan single-coil pickups. The Morgan Amps JS12 combo offers Blackface-style tones with top-shelf tweaks, including custom Mercury Magnetic transformers, a custom-designed Eminence JS1250 speaker, a 3dB boost, and tube-driven reverb — all critical in shaping Josh Smith’s signature sound.
