Inter-App Audio

A feature introduced in iOS 7 that allows audio to be routed between apps (both Apple and third-party) running in the same iOS device using virtual connections. Other features of Inter-App Audio include InterAppAudioDelay, which supports routing audio through virtual effects processors, and InterAppAudioSampler, which allows an app to function as a remote instrument that can receive audio and play that audio in response to MIDI events from a host application.
