Hyperlink

This is a reference or a navigation element, such as a graphic, that is found in a document that refers to either another location in the same document, or to a totally different document located on a different Web site. Hyperlinks may be clicked on using a mouse, which then takes you to the specified location, which may be on another Web page. Hyperlinks are usually created in HTML. Typically, the word is shortened to “link.”
