Glyph has just shipped us new Tproject and Xproject 001 hard drives. The Tproject drives are very inexpensive Ultra SCSI drives optimized for digital audio systems while the Xproject 001 drives are optimized specifically for Digi 001 systems. They even look like the Digi 001 audio interface.
Our Sweetwater/Digidesign tour show will be rolling into Louisville, Kentucky April 18. If you want to see the latest and greatest tools for audio production you should come out to the Seelbach Hotel on 4th street and check it out. Show times are 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. If you are traveling from a ways away, you may want to come a few days early and check out the most astounding fireworks show you’ve ever seen. Thunder Over Louisville will be on the previous Saturday (4/15). They’ll be shooting off something like 45,000 shells in front of the city. It’s the largest fireworks show in the United States and kicks off a three week festival leading up to the Kentucky Derby.
Speaking of Digidesign, they have announced a dual monitor video card that is compatible with Pro Tools Mix and Mix Plus systems on the Macintosh. The Jeronimo 2000 by Appian will work in a PCI slot or the standard AGP monitor slot. The new pre release Mac drivers are required.
