Interacting with Top Vendors
One component of 2023’s GearFest Online was a trade show–style vendor village, with dozens of manufacturers and distributors showing off their latest gear! Sweetwater Sales Engineers took advantage of this awesome gathering to learn about the newest releases in guitars, keyboards, drums, pro audio, and more so that they could bring that information and insight back to you! At Sweetwater, we believe in the power of practical knowledge. That’s why we put in the extra effort to give our Sales Engineers in-person access to all the best gear. This brings us to our next point . . .
Getting Hands-on with the Latest Gear
Another component of GearFest Online was our bespoke themed rooms, which covered the gamut of musical playgrounds from guitar-centric spaces to full synth- and beat-production laboratories. Sweetwater’s Sales Engineers were invited to visit these rooms and explore, play with, and interact with the instruments and gear inside. The GearFest-themed rooms also allowed Sales Engineers to mingle with Sweetwater’s in-house content creators as well as the numerous influencers and vendors who were present at the event.
Additional Training with Industry Luminaries
This year, some manufacturers coordinated the launch of new products with GearFest, including PRS and Gibson. Gibson unveiled its Gibson Custom Richie Faulkner Flying V Custom electric guitar, which sold out before GearFest 2023 wrapped. And PRS gave the world its first glimpse at the company’s T-style NF 53 electric guitar. PRS founder and mastermind Paul Reed Smith was on-site to introduce the new series and personally demo the guitars for Sweetwater’s Sales Engineers! GearFest exemplifies Sweetwater’s personalized approach to retail, which extends from our partners to our Sales Engineers to you!
