Flamenco

In the strictest sense, the label “flamenco” is applied to the indigenous music and dance of Andalusia in the south of Spain. However, it is more widely used today to cover a wide range of Spanish folk music, particularly that written for guitar and voice. Flamenco-style guitar playing has been chiefly responsible for the worldwide interest in this type of music.
