This is the popular acronym for “Frequently Asked Questions.” Most manufacturers have a pretty good idea about the kinds of questions most users will have, such as, “How long is the warranty?” or “What’s the best way to keep my new gear looking new?” By anticipating owner’s (or prospective buyers’) questions, it helps cut down on unnecessary phone time for both buyer and seller. Most manufacturer’s include a FAQ in their manuals or may even post them to their web site, where the information is usually more up-to-date.
