Eurorack

A standardized modular synthesizer format, developed by Doepfer, that somewhat analogous to the popular 500-series modular audio processor standard. The Eurorack format consists of a chassis and various chassis-mountable modules. In addition to a framework for mounting the modules, the chassis also provides +/- 12-volt and +/- 5-volt power. A number of manufacturers make analog synthesizer modules (oscillators, filters, envelope generators, and more) in the Eurorack format.
