Echorec

The Echorec, interchangably referred to as the Binson Echorec is the most famous echo machine developed by Italian company Binson. It was unique among early ’60s analog echo machines in that it used a magnetic drum recorder instead of a tape loop like the Echoplex. To get a good idea of the unique sound and modulation swells of the Echorech, listen to early Pink Floyd; the Echorec became an integral part of the early Pink Floyd sound.
