A: The “standard” scale length for a classical nylon string guitar is 650mm (25.6″ or 25-19/32″). Occasionally you will see other scale lengths, such as 665mm.
A “3/4-size” instrument, such as the Yamaha CGS103a will have a scale length of 23″. Taylor’s nylon string family has a scale length of 25-1/2″.
