A word with a variety of meanings. In the computer world, “bezel” typically refers to the frame around the edges on the front of a video monitor. It may also refer to the front panel of a computer, through which storage devices such as CD drives are mounted.
Other uses for “bezel” include generic use referring to a cover plate or frame that surrounds a display or feature on a device, a cover that mounts to a front or top panel, and more.
