Aging Toner

Also called vintage toner, this is a special blend of lacquers applied to certain acoustic guitars. It starts out with a nice warm yellowish hue and quickly darkens to a deep, rich amber, giving the appearance of a true pre-war vintage instrument. A spectacular example is the Martin 000-28EC Eric Clapton Signature Edition.
