Peavey has announced the new MiniMega, a 1,000-watt bass amplifier head. Coming in a just nine pounds, the MiniMEGA produces a full and rich tone and delivers unprecedented performance in a compact bass amp.
The MiniMEGA includes Peavey’s proprietary KOSMOS enhancement for increased bass impact without straining speakers, in addition to four-band EQ with Punch and Bright switches and semi-parametric mid controls. Other features include an effects loop, gain control, Crunch button, tuner output, master volume, mute control, headphone output, XLR DI output, DI pre/post switch, MIDI footswitch input, DDT limiter, and more. The MiniMEGA delivers 1,000 watts continuous power into four ohms and comes with a carrying bag.
