Brace yourselves! Today’s InSync is a long one, but we have an exciting announcement that we know many of you are going to love…
Sweetwater is now a Fender dealer! We’re thrilled to be able to offer you the complete line of Fender gear. The addition of Fender instruments and amplifiers rounds out our already extensive range of top equipment for guitarists.
Jazz, blues, rock, country. . . there’s no doubt that 20th century popular music would sound much different if it weren’t for Fender instruments and amplifiers – the gear and the music grew up together. Leo Fender started designing music gear back in the late 1940s, including the first instrument amplifiers with built-in tone controls. Words like “legendary” and “classic” are commonly applied to Fender gear like the Stratocaster and the Tweed Bassman amplifier, and rightly so; there’s a timelessness and an authenticity to the line that is rare.
Fender’s heritage speaks for itself, and the Fender reissues of vintage amps and instruments (all available at Sweetwater) more than back up their reputation. But you don’t remain one of the most respected musical equipment companies in the world by resting on your laurels. Fender continues to create tomorrow’s classics with their constantly evolving line Strat’s and Tele’s and innovative gear like the Cyber-Twin amp/effects modeler.
Sweetwater now carries the entire Fender line. That includes everything from the affordable Squire series to Fender’s custom shop guitars and vintage amplifer reissues. We have a ton of Fender guitars, amplifiers, and accessories already in stock and are adding more things daily.
If you don’t see the Fender equipment you’re looking for, just call us. If Fender makes it, we can get it for you fast, and we’ll be happy to do so.
CyberTwin (Fender) NEW – IN STOCK: Like we said above, Fender didn’t become a leading guitar and music equipment company by stopping after their first innovations. They’re constantly looking to meet the demands of today’s musician. Thus, the Cyber-Twin modeling amplifier, with tons of jaw-dropping amp models, great effects, and unbelievable presets. Of course, Fender gear is usually the type of gear being modeled, but the Cyber-Twin combo proves the company is just as good at doing the modeling. One of the most versatile and great-sounding modelers we’ve experienced.
59Bassman (Fender) NEW – IN STOCK: One of Fender’s most famous amplifiers gets the reissue treatment! Once upon a time, the Tweed Bassman was all set to become THE amp for electric bass guitar. What happened? It became a favorite of non-bass electric guitar players, who loved its special qualities and tone. Other instrumentalists – like blues harmonica players – also picked it up, and it went on to become one of the mostly widely used and imitated amps available. Their ’59 Tweed Bassman reissue updates the original, but just a little bit, preserving the vintage flavor.
63TubeRevBT (Fender) NEW – IN STOCK: The legendary Brown Tolex Reverb unit. If you’re looking for that authentic 60s surf sound, this is the unit that was used on all those famous recordings. But the sound of the Brown Tolex reverb is so rich it transcended its surf roots to become the reverb of choice for blues, rock, and “experimental” musicians.
Bassman Series (Fender) NEW – IN STOCK: Fender’s line of bone-rattling bass amps do it all. Designed from the ground up for undeniable bass, the Bassman amps can crank out the entire spectrum of your bass tone with amazing accuracy and clarity, from deep, fat tones on the lowest end to popping, crisp, propulsive tones on the high.
JaguarR3SB (Fender) NEW – IN STOCK: An breath-taking reproduction of one of Fender’s premier 60s guitars! The Jaguar features a contoured body with offset waist, switchable lead and rhythm circuits with independent volume and tone controls, and floating tremolo with “Tremolo-Lock. It features the Fender Mute, a built-in string-damping device created with surf bands in mind, but if surf isn’t your turf, it’s no sweat – the Fender Mute is easily removable!
Precision Bass (Fender) NEW – IN STOCK: Since its arrival in the early 50s, Fender’s Precision Bass has been a favorite among bass players in practically every style of music. They’re loud, distinctive, and offer flexible performance and “playability.” The American Vintage ’57 and ’62 Precision Basses recreate these groundbreaking instruments with accurate detailing including electronics and hardware-from the split single-coil pickups to the vintage tuning machines.
Jazz Bass (Fender) NEW – IN STOCK: Another monumental Fender instrument gets the reissue treatment! Fender’s Jazz Bass might be the electric bass standard, and their vintage ’62 and ’75 incorporate all the features – electronics and hardware – that made these instruments so popular. All original Fender “firsts” such as the off-set waist body, ultra slim fast-action neck, stacked concentric controls, and full-range bi-pole pickups are featured in this faithful reissue.
Strat50M2SB, Strat50MDKR (Fender) NEW – IN STOCK: The reissue of the Classic 50s Stratocaster captures the look and the sound of the genre-defining 50s Stratocaster with stunning accuracy. It sounds just as fresh and compelling today! These instruments feature deep body contours, original neck shapes, and even aged plastic parts.
American Stratocaster (Fender) NEW – IN STOCK: Fender’s American Stratocaster continues to grow and evolve while keeping the timeless characteristics that have made it the axe of choice for so many. This Stratocaster incorporates several simple player-centric refinements such as hand-rolled fingerboard edges, three custom-staggered single-coil pickups, 5-way switching and two-point synchronized tremolo.
