Line 6 announced that it is making all of the effects from its hugely popular ToneCore pedals available as drop-in modules. That means you buy the pedal (either the stereo or mono versions) and simply swap out the effect you want, when you want it. This is particularly handy in the studio, where you might need the swirling Roto-Machine module for one song and the Tap Tremolo for another. Go from Crunchtone to Dr. Distorto to Uber Metal. Simply pop out one module and drop in another. Slick!
