- Fender ’57 LTD Amp – This Limited Edition Fender amp boasts the classic sound of a Tweed Deluxe, but in a classy black “piano lacquered” dovetail joint maple cabinet, rather than the original tweed cloth. Of course, the original Tweed Deluxe amp of the 1950s is considered one of the finest tone machines ever devised. To make it sound even better, Fender dropped in a 12″ Celestion Alnico Blue speaker along with all-new knobs, handle, and other hardware. It’s equipped with handwired all-tube circuitry on an eyelet board with a late ’50s 5E3 circuit pumping out about 15 watts of pure tube tone.
