Fender has announced the new family of Hot Rod III amplifiers. The Hot Rod seris is one of the most popular amp lines in the world, and now the entire family has been upgraded and revised, for better tone and better performance. The new family includes these changes:
- Hot Rod Deluxe 410 III — an easier to read black control panel; a new badge; graduated volume and treble pot tapers; and a new low-profile, pedalboard-friendly footswitch.
- Hot Rod Deluxe 212 III — an easier to read black control panel; a new badge; graduated volume and treble pot tapers; a new low-profile, pedalboard-friendly footswitch; and two Celestion G12P-80 speakers.
- Hot Rod Deluxe III — an easier to read black control panel; a new badge; graduated volume and treble pot tapers; tighter-sounding overdrive; a new low-profile, pedalboard-friendly footswitch; and a Celestion G12P-80 speaker.
- Blues Junior III — an easier to read black control panel; a new badge; a “dog-bone” handle; an LED “jewel” light; “sparkle” circuit mod; rattle-reducing shock absorbers for EL84 tubes; Fender Special Design “Lightning Bolt” speaker by Eminence; and heavy-duty, set-screw chicken-head knobs.
- Pro Junior III — an easier to read black control panel; a new badge; a “dog-bone” handle; an LED “jewel” light; lower-noise shielding; rattle-reducing shock absorbers for EL84 tubes; and heavy-duty, set-screw chicken-head knobs.
