This is a term used in BIAS Peak. Essentially, blending is an automatic crossfade function that Peak applies to areas during cutting, pasting, and other editing processes to prevent abrupt transitions between waveform amplitudes. Blending caan be toggled on or off by choosing Blending in the Preferences menu.
