Importing Samples into Kontakt 2 Using Bulk Process

To import non-native files into Native Instruments’ Kontakt 2 automatically without having to load the samples into RAM first, you’d just use the Import button at the top of the Browser. You’ll be asked where to store the control files (Kontakt gives them suffixes such as .nki, .nkm or .nkb) as well as where to store the converted samples. A progress indicator shows how much of this process remains to be done. These files are automatically added to the Kontakt 2 Database as they are imported, which makes them exceptionally easy to find after the process is complete.
