Pultec is back with another classic EQ, the EQH-2 program equalizer. Originally introduced in 1956, the EQH-2 was very similar to the iconic EQP-1A. Notable differences include the shape of the peak boost curves, and the same Class A output stage as the MEQ-5 EQ. Many engineers consider the EQH-2 a more transparent alternative to the EQP-1A. With the EQH-2, you’ll have plenty of sonic control without sounding too heavy-handed.
Pultec EQH-2 Program Equalizer Features:
- Single-channel tube equalizer
- Same Class A output stage as the popular MEQ-5 equalizer
- Similar to the iconic EQP-1A equalizer but with a more transparent character
