Every Player II guitar and bass features a super-comfortable maple neck. It’s carved into a “Modern C” profile, which leaves just enough wood in the hand for comfort without slowing you down when you’re dashing up and down the neck. What’s more, the fingerboard edges are rolled for comfort. Finally, the necks feature satin finishes for the broken-in feel of a first-call axe.

Say hello to rosewood. That’s right: Fender outfitted the Player II with upgraded rosewood fingerboards. Players around the world prefer the look, feel, and sound of a rosewood board. Plus, the rolled fingerboard edges make playing outrageously comfortable.

Fender dove deep into the archives to find new, never-before-seen finish colors. You get classic Fender colors, including black, white, and sunburst. The Series also includes rare, vintage-car colors such as Aquatone Blue, Birch Green, Coral Red, and Hialeah Yellow. Whether you’re into the classic finishes or looking for something adventurous, the Player II Series has a color for you.

New electronics make the Player II Jaguars and Jazzmasters extremely versatile. Both models are loaded with newly designed pickups. They’re tuned to deliver the clear, biting tones the two iconic models are known for. With the new pickups, the Player II Jazzmaster and Jaguar are ready to elevate any genre.

Another addition to the Player II is the all-new ClassicGear tuning machine. Designed and engineered specifically for this Series, ClassicGear tuners offer better tuning stability than ever. Plus, they offer the flexibility necessary to explore new tunings and make string changes easy.

Certain Player II models include aged-white plastics. Though a small touch, the aged look helps the instruments appear like their vintage counterparts. But because they’re part of the Player II Series, they sound and play just like a modern guitar should. For an elevated, vintage-inspired look, the Fender Player II Series truly delivers.
