Made of metal makes it durable and it has a 6' power cable which made it easy to put the power base behind my amps and reach the outlet 5' away. And it has enough outlets to accommodate all my needs also has top outlets that work well for charging your phones or like devices. This unit replaced 2 surge protectors I was using because the amp power cords couldn't reach just one now all my power supply are in one spot

I was using one of those extension cords on a reel with multiple outlets (see photo) which are functional but ugly, bulky and offer no surge protection. The D'Addario Power Base is a perfect replacement! It is well designed and compact so it fits much better in my gig cases. The mutiple outlets are well laid out and the surge protection is an added bonus.

Easiest way to get your music cave wiring straitened out. The outlet base stays flat on the floor. You won't regret getting one of these units. Treat your self!

Robust construction—suspect it will stand up to some abuse. Beautifully functional—very stable. Surge suppression may prevent a catastrophe to the amp and pedals. Clever the way the power cord wraps and clips around the body of the unit—no need for a cable tie. A lot nicer than the typical power strip. Excellent service from Sweetwater—Thanks!
