Patchbay for Analog and Digital Applications

For the first time a professional audio patchbay has been developed to fit the needs of users of both analog and digital audio workstations. The StudioPatch 6425 simply connects to I/O interfaces with common DB-25 cables. The StudioPatch 6425 is conveniently laid out with four groups of eight channels of TT (Bantam) jacks. Each group of eight has its own in and out DB-25.

Depending on your studio's normaling requirements, the StudioPatch 6425 has changeable normals by the turn of a household flathead screwdriver. For each of the thirty-two channels these normaling positions can be set to either full normal, half normal, or non-normal modes. And yes, the StudioPatch 6425 can pass the phantom power that powers your condenser microphones.

Reviews

No Soldering!
I've had one of these in my rack for nearly a decade and it's been great! The DB25 connections make rewiring a breeze. Love the ability to quickly change the normalization without having to un-rack the unit. My only gripe that may be a cable issue and not the patch bay itself, occasionally I get extreme static in condensers and have to disengage phantom power, unplug the patch cable, and replug it back in.

Definitely will purchase another and actually may start buying them in groups of 8, which is so awesome to not have to buy more than you need at a time.

Solid
Easy, well crafted. I've only been using it for a couple weeks, but I am pleased.
The build quality is amazing
The build quality is amazing! Love the easy label slots though I wish the Templates for the labels were easier to find and more specific to this item hence the one star deduction. I'f I'm paying so much I want it to be perfect and have everything I could ever need to use it.

I'll be buying their 96 point Patch soon. Switchfcraft IS just the best and most engineers I rent the studio to want to have Switchcraft onbly.

Not much to say other than this is a great patchbay it allows me to quickly change my normalization right on the front.
