Reviews

Gets the job done! Plan on buying another when I expand my studio gear.
Great piece of equipment for the price and easy to use once you watch videos to understand how to set it up.
Music background: Experienced
Great for what it is.
I bought this patch bay so long ago. I don't remember when I got it. It works great for what it is, a patch bay. Easy to use, good components. I don't regret getting it.
Music background: Producer, musician, engineer, but mostly just a hobbies.
Works great, no issue
Can't notice any degradation in the sound. Set it and forget it. Nothing's failed on me yet.
Sturdy Unit with Clean Audio
I replaced a 1990's APAudio open frame patch bay with the ART P48. I appreciate the ability to change configuration with a button, as it didn't take too many reconfigurations over the years to result in some noisy cards limiting how much of the bay I could use. This seems pretty well built and feels solid. Plugging patch cords into this unit feels solid. The buzz and intermittent audio from the few bad cards I had in the old patch bay are gone, nothing but clean audio with the same exact configuration. The old one had a tiny insert for writing jack assignments on which is missing here, but it was so small I didn't use it before anyhow. My setup is back to being trouble free with this reasonably priced upgrade!
Solid Patchbay
After owing several other 1/4" bays I chose this ART as a replacement due to its "sealed" nature. Unlike most of the other options in this price range that have "open" backs and bottoms (individual card types), the ART is sealed all around and is very sturdy. Also by having a switch on each channel makes it a breeze to change when needed, especially when used for remote recording or live gigs that require different patching. Highly recommended on my end and well worth the money. My only complaint (and this is true of most of these) is that it doesn't have a built in label line which would be helpful.
