Capo Magic
I was frustrated because the capo that worked so well on my 6-string only seemed to work sporadically on my 12-string - sometimes leaving strings to rattle! Ben recommended this one and it is a winner! I just loosen it a bit and move it up off the fretboard toward the headstock so it is always instantly available and it works great!

Doesn’t fit classical past 5th fret
I bought it this only so I would have a capo that fit my classical guitar. It only goes to the 5th fret. Also I'll only risk using it on my camping guitar because if the small protective plastic sleeve moves much there's a risk it will scratch the side of the fret board
Doesn't work on my 352ce
I am a Taylor devotee - I own three Taylors. Unfortunately this capo was not effective with my 352ce. Regardless of what tension I put on the capo, I was left with either string buzz, out of tune strings or dead strings and could not tune all strings at the same time, thus an out of tune guitar. Very disappointed. I finally purchased the D'Addario Pro Plus Capo which works perfectly. Tunes all strings and does not require retuning after removing the capo.

Taylor capo
I have been using a Kyser clamp on. It works a lot better than this taylor. The first problem i ran into was the bar is slightly curved and my guild 12 has a fairly flat profile. Also to get the strings to either stop buzzing or sound dead i had to tighten the hell out of it. I stopped using it the first time. I did not want to damage the neck with the thumb screw clamp. Hopefully i can return it. The kyser clamp works fine. Ill stick to that.
Music background: Fair player. Finger picking guild 12 string.
