These are the only low tension strings I could find. They sounded great when new. The D string lost its vibrance after 2 weeks of hard practice. (15 hours per week). The other strings lasted about 60 hours of practice. They did not break. And they did not unravel like the D string did. They are the best strings I have used for someone getting back into the guitar, like me, or for students with virgin finger tips. Now that I have my callouses again, I'm going back to medium tension strings.
