The iFi Pro iDSD Studio delivers premium-quality D/A conversion by virtue of a quad-core Burr-Brown MultiBit DAC in a custom interleaved configuration. Specifically, this unit employs and mixes a total of eight pairs — four for each channel — of differential signals. A state-of-the-art Xmos XU216 Xcore-200 chipset processes incoming digital data, providing you with rock-solid support for 32-bit/768kHz PCM, DSD 1024, 2xDXD, and full MQA decoding. Moreover, data is routed from all of the Pro iDSD Studio's inputs to a memory buffer, which eliminates jitter prior to D/A conversion. The Pro iDSD Studio also brandishes a low-jitter Global Master Timing clock, and it supports AES3id-based Digital Audio Reference Signal (DARS). You also get asynchronous and external clocking options.
Switchable output stages and top-tier upsampling
