This Module Delivers Classic Cali-style Rock Tones

The Synergy IICP is a tribute to one of the most iconic amplifiers of all time, and its arena-worthy tone is guaranteed to leave its mark. This module's rhythm channel yields everything from Fullerton-inspired cleans to a potent crunch that demands attention. Its mid-saturated lead channel replicates the feel of the guitar amp that preceded it, with its ultra-touch-sensitive dual-cascading drive stage. You also get global Treble, Middle, Bass, and Presence controls for initial sound shaping, along with Brite and Shift switches that enable independent fine-tuning of the IICP's two channels. A switchable 5-band graphic EQ rounds out the IICP's tone-sculpting features. If you've been chasing classic Cali-style hard-rock tones, the Synergy IICP module will take you to the top of the mesa.

Reviews

The Real Deal!
This module is way beyond what I expected. If you are a fan of the tones this module was based on, get it now. It dials in like the original amp so you have to keep that in mind. If you are unfamiliar on how this circuit works, dig in and do some research. It isn't instant gratification, but once you learn how this module works, it is glorious. I've been wanting this tone since I was 16, I now have it at 41.

More than just a distortion channel...
I've never had the chance to play through a real MKIIC+, but I do know that I'm getting crazy good tones from this preamp. The lead channel is quite versatile as I've gotten a WIDE variety of tones from it which I am not surprised by...however, I'm LOVING the clean tones the other channel gets (it can go from clean to a decent amount of gain). I'm running this in the Synergy 20IR head, which gives me a pure clean channel (the built in channel on the head), a slight break up channel, and a "gobs of gain" lead channel. I'm loving this!

In one word, amazing. Maybe a bit more modern sounding than the original but just as touch sensitive on setup as any mark series.

Great Module
It's great. I don't own the head in question for a complete comparison, but from what I have heard, and what this can do, I think it's close enough that if you were blindfolded you wouldn't know it's a preamp module. Well worth the money.
Versatile, Dynamic, No complaints
Ordered one a while back but got tired of waiting for it to come back in stock. Saw it was available and jumped on it.
Only time I played through a real Boogie was once many years ago so I can't make any comparisons to the real thing but this has quickly become my favorite module. Takes a little getting used to the gain structure between the two channels. Once you figure that out it's incredible.
