Clever side-split design for easy setup
Rolls designed the ProMatch to be neutral towards users, in a good way. Instead of building the MB15b with inputs on one side and outputs on the other, Rolls took a split approach that places both inputs and outputs on each side of the device. This setup makes conversion — and cable management — a breeze whether your devices call for a pro-to-consumer scenario or vice versa. Side one contains two XLR inputs and a stereo RCA output; side two holds two XLR outputs, a stereo RCA input, and a handy 3.5mm stereo input. The 3.5mm input allows sourcing from a phone, laptop, or tablet, and it also works with a mixer’s headphone output.
