The Simplest 4-channel Interface You'll Own

Want to ditch the complications and just start recording? Check out the ART USB IV. This streamlined 4-channel audio interface has what you need. Engineers at Sweetwater are always pleasantly surprised by the performance of ART gear, and the USB IV more than meets our expectations. For starters, the 32-bit conversion at rates from 44.1kHz to 192kHz is excellent. The custom-converter-based I/O really shines through the onboard preamps. What's more, the USB IV's preamps handle microphones and hi-Z instrument sources beautifully. And with the capability to send independent mixes to the mains and the headphones, the USB IV is perfect for applications from studio recording to DJing.

ART USB IV Audio Interface Features:

  • Simple 4-in/4-out USB audio interface with 32-bit conversion
  • Supports sample rates from 44.1kHz to 192kHz

  • Discrete microphone preamps and hi-Z inputs onboard
  • Low-latency ASIO/WDM driver provided

Reviews

Look closely
I am in the market for a 4X4 interface. This unit*IS NOT* a 4X4, it is a 4X2; you can only get "Main L/R" output. You *WILL NOT* have4 independent direct outputs, you get 2, and it's going to be a mix.

If you are looking to use this unit in a live setting (as I am) and need 4 discreet outputs, this unit will fail you.

If you are just doing home recordings and playback, it's probably perfect.

Just really bothered by the mislabelling as this unit is a 4X2 and *NOT* a 4X4.
